益阳橡胶塑料机械集团有限公司（原益阳橡胶机械厂）是国内专业生产大重型橡胶机械和工程运输船舶的骨干企业。公司始建于1970年，现隶属于中国化工集团公司旗下的中国化工装备总公司。公司下设2个子公司，其中益阳益神橡胶机械有限公司系与日本神户制钢所、神户商事会社共同出资兴办的合资企业，益阳中海船舶有限公司系国内重要的工程运输船舶生产厂家。
公司具备雄厚的产品研发和制造能力。拥有400余名专业技术人员,科研开发平台完善，设有国家级企业技术中心、博士后科研工作站和湖南省橡胶塑料机械工程技术研究中心。产品设计、开发和公司管理使用CAD、CAE、CAPP、PDM和ERP系统，并拥有4×22m大型数控龙门铣磨床、φ130加工中心、φ160数控镗铣床、数控火焰切割机、数控珩磨机、光谱分析仪等先进的数控加工设备和检验检测设备，装备水平在国内同行业中居领先地位。
公司产品技术先进，品种齐全，且形成专业化生产格局。橡胶机械产品主要有密炼机、轮胎硫化机、平板硫化机组、双螺杆挤出机等系列产品；船舶产品主要有挖泥船、特种工程船（包括铺排船、抛枕船、钻爆船等）、工作船（清污船、拖轮、巡逻艇、消防船、指挥艇等）和运输船等系列产品。主导产品出口到日本、美国、意大利、新西兰、南非、巴西、泰国等40多个国家和地区。

Yiyang Rubber & Plastics Machinery Group Co, Ltd, founded in 1970 as the Yiyang Rubber Machinery Factory is China's major manufacturer of large rubber and plastics machinery and ships. It belongs to ChemChina’s China National Chemical Equipment Corp and has two subsidiaries --- the Yiyang Yishen Rubber Machinery Co, Ltd, a joint venture by Kobelco and the Shinsho Corp, and the Yiyang Zhonghai Shipyard Co, Ltd, a major manufacturer of transport ships.
The company is strong in R&D and manufacturing. It has more than 400 technicians, a R&D center, a national level enterprise technical center, a postdoctoral research center, a Hunan Provincial Rubber and Plastics Machinery Engineering Research Center. It also uses CAD, CAE, CAPP, PDM, and ERP systems in its product design, development, and management. It has advanced data processing equipment, and testing equipment such as a 4x22 meter NC gantry milling machine, φ130 processing center, φ160 NC boring mill, NC flame cutting machine, NC honing machine, and a spectrum analyzer.
The company’s technology shows in its specialized production and products which can be divided into 3 categories, namely rubber machines, ships and engineering equipment. Its main rubber machines are internal mixers, tire vulcanizers, a plate vulcanizing press unit, and twin-screw extruders. Ship line includes dredgers, special-duty engineering ships, tugboats, patrol boats, firefighting ship, command boats, and transport ships. Its main engineering machinery covers rotary drilling rigs, mortar trucks, and pumping trucks. Its lead products are exported to more than 40 countries, including Japan, the US, Italy, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil, and Thailand.
